The Potomac Nationals picked up a win at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, taking down the Salem Red Sox, 7-3. Starting pitcher Alex Muzquiz was a big reason why. The Nationals sit in third place in the Northern Division with a record of 42-44.

David Lynch drew 1 walk for Potomac. The 23-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Allan Corbin. It was his 1st walk of the season.

"I just tried to stick to my strengths," said Muzquiz.
