The Myrtle Beach Pelicans got great pitching from 21-year old left-handed pitcher Danny Rosa, allowing them to bump off the Frederick Keys, 4-1. At 42-44, the Pelicans are currently second in the Southern Division.

Willie Gallegos came through with a big-time hit for Myrtle Beach. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Danny gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Myrtle Beach skipper Valentino Garzelli.
