A favor to his bullpen. That's what Larry Michelotti was doing at Grainger Stadium today as he blanked the Carolina Mudcats in a 9-inning complete game shutout.

"I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Lynchburg Hillcats right-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid."

Michelotti notched 12 strikeouts, surrendered 1 walk, allowed 5 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.
