A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Potomac Nationals and Winston-Salem Dash.

The Winston-Salem Dash went down to defeat to Erik McFadden and his Potomac teammates. The final score was 4-0, in favor of the Nationals. In 8 innings, McFadden surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed no runs.

Potomac used the clutch hitting of Javier Aybar to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Nationals ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

Potomac manager Justin Bland called it "a darn good win."
