Keys Lose, 3-0, at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium
|
Wilmington Blue Rocks pitcher Katsumi Nagamine was all business, helping his team muzzle the Frederick Keys, 3-0. The win boosted Wilmington to 47-46.
Wilmington designated hitter Danny Esquivel contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 16th hit of the season and put the Blue Rocks ahead, 2-0.
In postgame comments to the Wilmington Citizen, Esquivel said, "Our goal is to stack wins."
