Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Mudcats
The Carolina Mudcats clipped the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 6-2, in 11 innings at Grainger Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Carolina pitcher and Marion, Kansas, native Manny de Luna. The third-place Mudcats improved to 46-48.

Carolina got a clutch hit from Nick Fraley. The catcher launched a grand slam home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Fraley said after the game.
