The Frederick Keys picked up a win, 4-2, over the Potomac Nationals at Harry Grove Stadium. Danny Sandoval led the charge. The La Habra, California native was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Frederick. Frederick reliever Javier Hernandez picked up the win, raising his record to 4-1. Alex Arriaga was tagged with the loss. The Keys improved their record to 45-50 by beating Potomac.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Frederick trailing 2-1, Sandoval jumped on a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Alex Arriaga and hit a 3-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Keys had a walk-off win.

Sandoval told the Frederick News: "Don't care what other people think. Danny knows who Danny is."
