The Salem Red Sox picked up a win at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium, knocking off the Potomac Nationals, 4-0. Starting pitcher Chris Hardy was a big reason why. The Red Sox go to 73-22, putting them first in the Southern Division.
Hardy gave Salem a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"I thought we played a nice game," Hardy told the Salem Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
