Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Nationals
The Potomac Nationals faced a tough opponent in Winston-Salem pitcher Alfredo Arredondo, but found a way to pull out the victory at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium by a final score of 4-3 in 10 innings. Arredondo went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Potomac reliever Alex Arriaga picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Taylor Phillips took the loss. Potomac is now 47-50.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 23-year old catcher David Lynch had a chance to be the hero. Winston-Salem pitcher Taylor Phillips wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Lynch hit a sacrifice fly. The Nationals had themselves a thrilling win.

Lynch said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
