O'Connor Clubs 2 Home Runs in 7-1 Myrtle Beach Win

A good performance from shortstop Travis O'Connor helped the Myrtle Beach Pelicans defeat the Potomac Nationals, 7-1. O'Connor went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 doubles, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Pelicans. Aaron Scott picked up the win with 8 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 13-2. With the win, Myrtle Beach goes to 59-39, while the Nationals fall to 47-51.
Chris Howard, who leads the CAR with a .488 slugging percentage, helped out the Myrtle Beach cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk, while scoring 2.
