Dash Get One-Run Win at Wilmington
Winston-Salem registered a win at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium by beating the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 4-3. Pitcher Marcos Astudillo was one reason why the Dash triumphed. Winston-Salem raised its record to 56-43 with the win.

Winston-Salem used the hitting of Mike Donner to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Dash on top, 2-0. For the game, Donner had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Marcos gave us a huge shot in the arm," said Winston-Salem manager Sam Simmons.
