Wilmington Offense Goes Belly-Up Versus Reyes, Hillcats
The rain came, as predicted, but the Lynchburg Hillcats and Wilmington Blue Rocks were able to complete their ballgame.

Starting pitcher Harvey Reyes took care of business, helping the Lynchburg Hillcats stifle the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 8-0. Lynchburg goes to 71-31. The win puts them 14½ games up in their division.

Reyes lasted 8 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. The Lynchburg right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the CAR in strikeouts with 126, is now 11-5.

"These guys just keep getting after it," Lynchburg manager Diego Perez said.
