Lynchburg pitcher Daniel Aitken gave the Red Sox all they could handle, but in the end, Salem left Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium with a win, 2-1. Aitken allowed 2 runs on 3 hits over 5.1 innings. Tyler Ropson earned the save, his 1st, for the Red Sox. The Red Sox raised their record to 43-62.
