Pedro Ramos pitched well, but the Lynchburg Hillcats still lost the game, falling, 1-0, to the Frederick Keys at Harry Grove Stadium. Preston Erickson went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 6 hits. Nakanishi hit a run-scoring double on a 2-1 fastball from Lynchburg hurler Pedro Ramos. It was Nakanishi's 4th double of the year.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Nakanishi.
