The Potomac Nationals weathered a fine game by Wilmington left fielder Anthon Bakker to upend the Blue Rocks, 4-3, at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. Bakker went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. Manny Serrano picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 7-6. Armando Rosa, who is tied for 3rd in the CAR in saves with 12, was tagged with the loss. The loss makes Wilmington 54-54.

Arturo Ramirez was the walk-off hero for Potomac. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Nationals right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Ramirez said.
