Potomac Nationals starter Alex Muzquiz hurled his team past the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 3-1. Ismael Barreto finished the game for Potomac and earned his 1st save. The Nationals saw their win-loss record go to 52-57. At the same time, the Blue Rocks fell to 54-55.

The Nationals took the lead, 3-0, in the bottom of the fourth inning. Facing Wilmington hurler Francisco Checa with two outs, Ricardo Torres hit a 2-run single.

"Just trying to help my team," said Torres. "That's all I want."
