Blue Rocks Defeat Keys, 4-2

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Wilmington Blue Rocks got the win.
The Wilmington Blue Rocks defeated the Frederick Keys, 4-2, at Harry Grove Stadium today. Leading the charge for Wilmington was catcher Estevan Araiza. He was 3-3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Andrew Gibbs earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 5.2 innings. He upped his record to 10-6. Ronnie Doyle earned his 4th save in 5 tries.
Araiza contributed in the top of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Wilmington get the win.
"Bottom line," said Frederick skipper Brian Burris, "we didn't play well enough to win."
With the victory, the Blue Rocks upped their record to 63-48.
