The umbrellas came out during the Myrtle Beach-Frederick contest at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark.

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, behind a great outing from Lorenzo Llamas, who is tied for 7th in the CAR in wins with 8, defeated the Frederick Keys, 3-0, at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. Ryan LaBrasca earned save number 18 this season.

Llamas was in the zone all game. He frustrated Frederick hitters while giving the Pelicans 7 innings of quality work. Llamas threw 92 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 9 punchouts.

"I got in a good groove," said Llamas. "I was getting some swings and misses."

At 55-59, the Pelicans find themselves in second place in the Southern Division.
