Nationals Get One-Run Win at Carolina
The Potomac Nationals did just enough to sneak past the Carolina Mudcats, 4-3, at Grainger Stadium. Potomac left fielder Alan Brulhart, in particular, had a standout performance. Potomac bumps their record to 55-59 with the win.

With Potomac leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Brulhart hit a sinker from Josh Mullen for a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Nationals ahead, 3-0.

Brulhart called the win a test of his team's "mettle."
