Blue Rocks Take Down Nationals, 10-2
Wilmington Blue Rocks starter Gareth Williams turned in an exceptional performance against the Potomac Nationals at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium, resulting in a Wilmington win, 10-2. The win makes Wilmington 53-64.

The Nationals had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Blue Rocks going into the bottom of the eighth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old second baseman John Blevins came to the plate. Blevins hit a 2-run double on a first pitch fastball from Potomac hurler Alvaro Morales. It was Blevins's 10th double of the year.

"Gareth did a good job of managing their lineup," said Wilmington manager Bobby Clontz.
