Potomac right-hander Alex Muzquiz pitched his team to victory over the Wilmington Blue Rocks at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. The final score was 4-0. Muzquiz yielded no runs over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 4, and struck out 5. His record improves to 7-9. The Nationals now have a record of 56-61.

Potomac took a 4-0 lead on Sean Boyle's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Boyle hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Wilmington pitcher Cory Garza visibly frustrated.
