Mudcats Hang 6-1 Loss on Red Sox
|
The Carolina Mudcats and Salem Red Sox completed their game despite the inclement weather.
Carolina third baseman Jim Young had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Salem Red Sox, 6-1. The win puts the Mudcats at 38-79, while the Red Sox drop to 33-84.
Early in the game, Young had a 2-run home run for Carolina. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Mudcats on top, 2-0.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Young.
