Dash Topple Mudcats, 8-6, as Hutchinson Shines
Dash center fielder Aaron Hutchinson left his imprint on his team's 8-6 win over the Carolina Mudcats. Hutchinson went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 4 times and driving in 4 for Winston-Salem in the contest. Winston-Salem reliever Omar Acosta picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Alex Buitrago was saddled with the loss. Winston-Salem is now 53-65, while Carolina is 48-70.

Alex Reyes took Carolina hurler Alex Buitrago deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 3-run home run put the Dash on top, 8-6. In all, Reyes had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Reyes told the Winston-Salem News. "Whatever it takes."
