Kevin Rice pitched well, but the Lynchburg Hillcats still lost the game, falling, 1-0, to the Wilmington Blue Rocks at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. The win went to Justin Franklin in relief, making him now 2-1. Kevin Rice took the loss for Lynchburg. Mike Sanchez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 5 of 8 save opportunities.
