Frederick pitcher Jason Langan had a large part in his team subduing the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 8-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. The winner was Langan. He threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Sieb Bakker. The loss makes Wilmington 61-61.
Andres Pulido had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Frederick. With the bases loaded and the Keys leading 2-1, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Bobby Clontz.
