Salem third baseman Josh Mutka had a 4-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Winston-Salem Dash, 6-2. Mutka picked up 2 singles and 1 double in the ballgame. Salem pitcher Alberto Murguia earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Cortez Estrada suffered the loss. The second-place Red Sox have won 6 in a row.

Mutka had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 slider from Luis Fernandez, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Red Sox a 3-2 lead. It was the 10th double of the year for Mutka.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Mutka after the game.
