Jasso Leads Pelicans to Win
A 4-RBI performance from the 24-year old shortstop Elias Jasso helped the Myrtle Beach Pelicans beat the Salem Red Sox, 9-1. Myrtle Beach occupies first place in the Southern Division at 73-51.

With Myrtle Beach leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Jasso hit a splitter from Henri Mariotto for a 2-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Pelicans ahead, 3-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Pelicans manager David Larson. "We came out swinging the bats."
