Kevin Rice pitched a gem in leading Lynchburg to a 6-0 victory over the Potomac Nationals. The setback makes Potomac 59-67.

Rice earned the win to move to 6-6. In his 8.1-inning performance, he scattered 2 hits, striking out 10 and walking 1. The right-hander allowed the Nationals few scoring opportunities.

"We had a good game plan," Rice said, "and we were able to execute it."
