Salem Red Sox starter Asher Dewolfe found his groove in his team's 6-3 win over the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Dewolfe picked up the win for Salem, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-10. The win makes Salem 41-85.

Dan O'Brien had a big 3-run home run for the Red Sox in the bottom of the third inning. With Salem trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from Matt Gold, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2097 draft, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Red Sox on top, 3-1.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," O'Brien told the Salem Chronicle.
