A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Potomac Nationals and Lynchburg Hillcats.

In a low-scoring affair between Potomac Nationals and the Lynchburg Hillcats, pitcher Mitch Jarrell was the difference-maker. The Potomac left-hander handcuffed the opposition, to help his team pocket a 3-0 win. Potomac has run its win streak to 4 straight.

Potomac won the game in part because of Arturo Ramirez. The right fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Nationals ahead, 2-0. For the game, Ramirez had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Lynchburg manager Diego Perez.
