Castello Plays Big Role in Winston-Salem Win
Willie Castello pitched a gem in leading Winston-Salem to a 2-0 victory over the Carolina Mudcats. The save went to Edgar Rameriez, his 10th this season. The Dash saw their win-loss record go to 77-51. At the same time, the Mudcats fell to 33-95.

Winston-Salem starter Willie Castello showed the eye of a tiger. The right-hander allowed no runs, while limiting Carolina to 3 hits over 8 innings. He was tough to hit.

"Willie did a good job keeping the game under control," said Winston-Salem manager Sam Simmons.
