The Myrtle Beach Pelicans soundly defeated the Lynchburg Hillcats, 13-3, at Ed Smith Stadium. Skyler McGuire, who is tied for 2nd in the CAR in extra base hits with 43, let his bat do the talking. He went 4 for 6 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for Myrtle Beach. Clint Madore, the winning pitcher, is now 16-5.
