Amari Spencer was the difference-maker for the Frederick Keys in what turned into a shootout with the Winston-Salem Dash. Spencer went 3-for-4 in the 11-9 Keys win. Frederick reliever Butch Torres picked up the win, raising his record to 6-6. Alfredo Silva was tagged with the loss. Justin Daniels converted his 1st save in 2 tries.

Early in the game, designated hitter Joe Brumley had a 2-run double for Frederick. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Keys on top, 3-1.

"Wild game," said Spencer after it ended.

Frederick is now 84-45. Winston-Salem is 77-52.
