The Winston-Salem Dash topped the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 12-8, in Carolina League action at BB&T Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Winston-Salem left fielder Ernesto Morin. Danny Enriquez, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. The Dash, at 70-61, sit in second place in the Southern Division.

Winston-Salem grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Morin hit a 2-run triple off Mike Sanchez. His 6th triple of the season put the Dash out in front, 10-8.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Morin.
