The Myrtle Beach Pelicans did just enough to secure a victory over the Winston-Salem Dash, 4-3, in 10 innings at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Tilmão Vicente. The win puts the Pelicans at 89-43, while the Dash drop to 59-73.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 25-year old first baseman Ryan Tillett had a chance to be the hero. Winston-Salem pitcher Antonio Cruz had other ideas. But with one out, Tillett drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Pelicans had themselves a dramatic win.

"That was a backyard tug-of-war," said Pelicans manager David Larson.
