Potomac Nationals starter Phil Sherman found his groove in his team's 6-2 win over the Wilmington Blue Rocks. The win elevated the Nationals to 69-64.

Potomac relied on the hitting of Matt Ferris to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Nationals on top, 5-2. For the game, Ferris had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
