Nationals Rally to Nose Past Lynchburg
The Potomac Nationals faced a tough opponent in Lynchburg pitcher Harvey Reyes, but did just enough to pull out the victory at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium by a final score of 6-5. Reyes went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Potomac reliever Eduardo Ralda picked up the win, upping his record to 2-6. Omar Reyes was saddled with the loss. The Nationals raised their record to 63-71.

The decisive blow was delivered by Daniel Steens in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Omar Reyes to win the game for Potomac. The home crowd went nuts.

"Exhilarating win," said Steens.
