The rain came, as predicted, but the Wilmington Blue Rocks and Frederick Keys were able to complete their ballgame.

Kyle McDonald, who is tied for 6th in the CAR in innings pitched with 176.2, had a strong outing for the Wilmington Blue Rocks against the Frederick Keys at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-2 win. Wilmington is now 63-72, while Frederick is 63-72.

The Blue Rocks got a big at-bat from catcher Aaron Foehl. For the game, Foehl was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Wilmington a 4-1 lead.
