Red Sox Lose Big to Nationals, 10-2
The Potomac Nationals coasted to a win over the Salem Red Sox, 10-2. Tony Pulido had a good day at the plate for Potomac. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Potomac reliever Mike Swan picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dillon Sheerer took the loss. The Nationals are now 48-89, while the Red Sox fall to 53-84.

Potomac went up, 3-2, on Justin Coe's 28th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Coe hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Salem pitcher Dillon Sheerer feeling deflated.

"Not my idea of a good time," Salem manager Arturo Cobian said, when asked afterward about the game.
