The Wilmington Blue Rocks topped the Potomac Nationals, 4-3, in Carolina League action at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Wilmington pitcher Tim Crader. Wilmington is now 82-55, Potomac 60-77.

Jose Rodriguez, the 23-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rodriguez contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Wilmington up, 2-1.

Crader attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
