The Wilmington Blue Rocks got a strong performance from pitcher Manny Rodriguez, who stymied the Potomac offense en route to a win, 6-1, at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. The second-place Blue Rocks have won 4 straight games.

Antonio Garza had a critical at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Wilmington. He came through with a 2-run single to put Wilmington in front, 4-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Garza.
