The Potomac Nationals defeated the Salem Red Sox, 11-4, at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. Potomac second baseman Jorge Dominguez had a superb performance. He went 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Potomac, at 50-89, holds down last place in the Northern Division.

The Nationals got a big hit from designated hitter Brandon Jackson. Facing Salem pitcher Willie Estrada in the bottom of the seventh, Jackson pounded a bases-clearing double to center. His 8th double of the season put the Nationals ahead, 11-0.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Jackson told the Potomac Times.
