Keys Get 4-0 Win Versus Myrtle Beach
|
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans got a superb performance from pitcher Sam Delcour, but the Frederick Keys still won the game, 4-0. Delcour threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Gianfrancesco Sertori earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 1-0. The Keys now own a record of 90-49.
Mike Schilling helped out the Frederick cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.
"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Schilling.
