Blue Rocks Knock Off Nationals at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium
The Wilmington Blue Rocks picked up a win at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, dropping the Potomac Nationals, 8-5. Alex de la Rosa, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2110 draft, was the difference-maker. Wilmington is now 73-66, Potomac 71-68.

Wilmington used a well-timed hit by Fred Allday to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blue Rocks ahead, 5-3. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said Allday. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
