Walk-Off Win Makes Trenton 5-9
|
The Trenton Thunder got a rain-soaked win over the Erie SeaWolves.
Getting an impressive start from Angel Moreno, Trenton beat Erie by the score of 2-1. With the win, Trenton elevates its record to 5-9.
The Thunder procured the win, in large part because of catcher Rich Ruiz. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"Tough win," said Ruiz. "We had to earn it."
