The Winston-Salem Dash and Frederick Keys were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Frederick beat Winston-Salem on the strength of starter James Schillaci's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 3-0. Earning his 23rd save of the year was Adrian Torrez.

Schillaci tossed 91 pitches over 7.1 innings to clinch the win for the Keys. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts in the game.

"James had swing-and-miss stuff," said Frederick manager Brian Burris.

With this game in the books, Frederick is 60-80, Winston-Salem 87-53.
