The Fort Myers Miracle faced a tough opponent in St. Lucie pitcher Juan Linares, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Hammond Stadium by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings. Linares went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. The loss has the Mets at 11-10.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Fort Myers right fielder Jon Blacker, facing Bert Reed, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Miracle the 5-4 win.

"This game was intense," Blacker said, postgame.
