The Daytona Tortugas picked up a win at Tradition Field, knocking off the St. Lucie Mets, 5-2. On the mound for Daytona was right-hander Jesus Reyes. He played a key role in the triumph. The win puts Daytona at 20-6.

Matt Barnes helped out the Daytona cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.

Reyes attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."
