Miracle Come Back Late, Nip Blue Jays
The Fort Myers Miracle topped the Dunedin Blue Jays, 6-5, in Florida State League action at Hammond Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Fort Myers pitcher and Higüey, Dominican Republic, native Andres Rubio. The Miracle raised their record to 20-7.

Ivran Coble was the walk-off hero for Fort Myers. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Miracle second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Now that's my kind of ending," said a smiling Rubio.
