James Fillion, who is tied for 6th in the FSL in innings pitched with 49.0, propelled his team to victory over the Lakeland Flying Tigers. The final score was 11-4, Clearwater. Fillion picked up the win for Clearwater, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 2-5. The Threshers are now 12-24, while the Flying Tigers fall to 25-11.

Clearwater got a big at-bat from Washington, Illinois native John Martinkus, who in the top of the third hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Threshers ahead, 7-0.
