The Daytona Tortugas beat the Charlotte Stone Crabs, 7-2, at Charlotte Sports Park. Steven Lucich went 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. The 21-year old right fielder was a menace to Charlotte all day. Luis Munguia picked up the save, his 4th. Daytona has won 5 straight games.

Daytona took a 6-2 lead on Lucich's 2nd triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which he hit off Brett Broyles in the top of the eighth, propelled Daytona to the win.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Lucich.
