Mets Dealt 4-2 Loss by Palm Beach
The exploits of first baseman Noah Sykes, who is tied for 7th in the FSL in RBI with 21, helped the Palm Beach Cardinals defeat the St. Lucie Mets, 4-2. Sykes went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Art Cathcart, who is tied for 6th in the FSL in complete games with 2, was the winner. He's now 4-2. The loser was Ernesto Balderas. Palm Beach currently is in first place in the FSL South at 26-17.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Sykes hit a 3-run home run off Ernesto Balderas. It propelled the Cardinals into the lead, 4-1.

"I like what I saw today," said Palm Beach manager Greg Cary, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
