The Charlotte Stone Crabs defeated the Lakeland Flying Tigers, 4-2, at Joker Marchant Stadium. Charlotte left fielder Omar Navarro had a superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Salvador Sanchez snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 3.1 innings. He's now 2-0 on the season. With the win, the Stone Crabs improved to 24-20.

Josh Graber delivered a big hit for Charlotte. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Stone Crabs ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

After the game, Charlotte manager Victor Beltran applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
